From 18th January to 2nd February Jenny and I spent our Chinese New Year holiday back with Jenny's family in Hunan.
I've arranged the photos into 10 themes because I can't remember what happened on each particular day, and, in many cases, nothing happened in particular or in any particular sequence. This is the way of the Chinese New Year celebrations... the same every year... an unstructured blur of crowded family groups, overeating, alcohol, smoke, and borderline hypothermia... before sudden restoration to the modern world and back to the flow of work in the city.
