Enjoying NOT being in the office
The new house's roof has good views over the town and hills. Weather is like this most days in the winter, like being trapped inside a mountain cloud.
In classic countryside style, wherever we see ducks or chickens in the village, Dad knows who they belong to, even if they just appear to be wandering around the fields or swimming in the river outside town.

Oh nooo, the grasses leave evil little hooked seed pods all over our trousers!
They really loved my trousers.
It took an hour after the walk to pick these off, one by one. Brushing just makes the seed fall off but leaves the little teeth stuck in and even more difficult to remove.
Because walking up a mountain isn't healthy enough for Jenny!
